2008/6/26
My first attempt at a cross-legged pose. Having a child in such a pose looks cute, and so are his little hands and foot. During the middle of the sketch, his concentration got distracted by that butterfly. ^_^
2008/6/27
The image in my head kept changing as I sketched this. Originally, it was a simple and plain faerie; in the end, it had transformed into a rather unique and exotic butterfly faerie. I love the way the shading and the messiness in the hair came out.

These sketches were made to practice speed drawing and are gifts for my childhood friend, though she deserves much more than this.
